Jennifer L. Peel

Jennifer Peel has a PhD and an MPH in epidemiology. She is an environmental epidemiologist with a focus on air pollution, including ambient air pollution and household air pollution from indoor cooking in lower- and middle-income countries. She has led multiple projects evaluating interventions aimed at reducing exposure and improving health. Dr. Peel is a deputy editor for the journal Environmental Health Perspectives and recently served as a member of the 2021 US EPA Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC) Particulate Matter Review Panel and the 2022 CASAC Ozone Review Panel.
