Allison Patton is a Senior Scientist with expertise in exposure science. Since joining HEI in 2017, she has been involved in research program development, research oversight, and review of studies related to traffic and the effectiveness of interventions to improve air quality and public health (Accountability). Patton received her Ph.D. in environmental engineering from Tufts University, where she measured and modeled ultrafine particles in neighborhoods near highways. She further studied air pollution exposure in commuting vehicles and in residential green buildings during postdoctoral training in exposure science at the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute of Rutgers University. She holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in environmental engineering. Her list of peer-reviewed journal articles is available at ORCID (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8334-3580).
