Status:
Active
Number:
24-2

HEI is pleased to inform you of a new funding opportunity RFA 24-2: Insights into the Health Effects of Exposure to Low Concentrations of Particulate Matter. The RFA will focus on studies that can help to distinguish between potential sources of heterogeneity or to clarify the biological plausibility of PM health effects at low levels of ambient exposure. The research, aligned with HEI's 2020-2025 Strategic Plan, should focus on innovative approaches in toxicology, clinical, or epidemiological studies. Proposed studies must clearly articulate the relevance of the research to the human health effects of PM in the United States. HEI plans to fund up to 3 studies with a $2.5 million budget.

IMPORTANT: Proposed studies must clearly articulate the relevance of the research to the human health effects of PM in the United States.
