Dan Crouse

Dan Crouse is a health geographer and environmental epidemiologist with a background in exposure assessment and describing environmental determinants of health. He contributes to research oversight and review in HEI’s Environment & Health program. He also coordinates the scientific program for HEI's Annual Conference. He holds a Ph.D. in health geography from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and a master’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Waterloo, Ontario. After earning his Ph.D., he spent five years as an epidemiologist at Health Canada. Prior to joining HEI in 2020, he was a research associate at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Dan is based in Burlington, Vermont.
